"Education should not be a debt sentence." I saw this scrawled on the door of a bathroom stall. For some educaton is not a right, but rather a privilege because of the high costs associated with higher education.

 

In my first year writing class, I wrote an argumentative essay analyzing the increasing trend of high college tutition, the causes of it, along with the recommendations of what students can do to educate themselves and graduate with as little debt as possible.
