Minor in Writing

I'm pursuing a minor in writing because I want to be a better writer professionally while applying these skills to new media writing. One of the required classes is the introduction to the writing minor.

In the class, I was given freedom to do what I wanted with my pieces and a chance to explore who I am as a writer. I could use any old piece of writing to create two new piece, and I chose a work that had a topic I was passionate about, diversity. Complementing the freedom I had as a writer, I also used traditional forms to explore why I write and how my writing process has changed during the semester as the result of blogging.

With new and old styles of writing, I did things I had never done before like new drafting techniques such as a sketch draft, author's notes, and reflective comments.

Here are snapshots of what I have worked on throughout the semester.
