So far in my college career, I have wrote papers on topics that I chose and some where the topics were assigned. All of these pieces have helped me develop as a writer by helping me learn about what sort of styles I like and don't like. It's also helped me improve my writing as I have had to write in different disciplines such as anthropology and information studies.

 

In one piece from my first year writing class, I wrote about the trend in increasing college tuition prices. It has become a norm that college is expensive and the estimated cost of attendance can deter students from applying. I look at the causes of it and explain what students can do to educate themselves on this issue.
