In collaboration with my accounting class, I wrote a memo in my business communications class. The purpose of the memo was to provide recommendations for a problem in the company. The company was not using an efficient cost method and because of that their gross margin was being misrepresented.

 

In order to supplement the written portion, I created figures to better explain the situation. Often, it is hard to analyze numbers with strictly just words, so by adding tables and charts, the reader can grasp the idea more quickly.
