Every writer has to start somewhere. While I am familiar with real life experiences with diversity, I didn't know what the experts were saying, so I had to read about what research has been done regarding diversity. The research also informed me about actual statistics and research related to diversity.

Not only did I do research about diversity, I researched the format of the medium I chose, Thought Catalog. I read the website occasionally, but I had to see some of the articles to cater my writing style more like theirs. The great thing about Thought Catalog is that they welcome any writing style, so while I did keep their formatting, I also had my own writing style too.

The sources that I used for my rsearch are in my annotated bibliography which summarizes each source and explains what I use it for.

Follow my writing process: proposal, sketch draft, first rough draftauthor's note for first rough draftpeer revision draft, final, remediating project.
