SNAPSHOT: A WRITING PORTFOLIO
In many cases, the first rough draft is always... rough. It's rough because it's the raw, unpolished version of the piece, and it's a way to get ideas down and find something good in that process.
In my first rough draft, you'll see that I didn't originally plan to do my repurposing project as a Thought Catalog article. It shows that ideas change and what you originally wanted can be different from the final product. I also include comments about choices that I'm not sure about because they might not seem clear or don't add to the purpose of the piece.
Follow my writing process: proposal, sketch draft, author's note for first rough draft, peer revision draft, annotated bibliography, final, remediating project.
