Before I began my repurposing project, I submitted a proposal outlining what my goals for this new version was. I was going from a personal essay used for an application for an internship to an essay for a college student audience. I included new research I would have to do because I was choosing a new outlet. I read other Thought Catalog articles to get an idea of the format and the style it was written in.

 

Follow my writing process: sketch draft, first rough draft, author's note for first rough draft, peer revision draft, annotated bibliography, final, remediating project.
